Episode 3 of our 'Tuning In' series has arrived, with none other than Lydia May. This is an artist that we immediately clicked with when we first met her; sometimes in life you meet someone who really is as genuine as they seem.
Born in Melbourne, this artist took her talent across the world and matured her sound over the last seven years, to become the Lydia May we, and her dedicated ‘Maybelles’, know and love today. Paired with her recent single ‘you’ve got this kid’ just being released, this is the perfect comfort watch for all you theatre kids out there!
We discuss the balancing act of working as an independent artist alongside education and working, the whirlwind experience of a first tour, and the female artists that help keep her grounded as she navigates a daunting industry.
